Comment: Hi guys, I'm from Ohio, USA. I'm looking for an operator in St. Mary to be my contact for a Missions group down there. During hurricane season, they have trouble contacting us up here in the states so they eventually want to set up a A R station. Anybody have any info of a helpful volunteer to work with me until they are up and running? Thanks!

I have a QSL card from Mr. Lyons from February 3, 1934, but his callsign was listed as VP5MK. I would be happy to send you an image of the card. 73's de Rick McMorran email W6ANF at ARRL dot NET

Comment: I was in Jamaica in June 2010 and got my 2 meter portable with me. I did scan the 2 meter band a lot but heard only 1 QSO,(forgot to take note of the call letters..) But it was very fun to hear them talk, I was close to Montego Bay. next time I will be less shy and will try to key the transmitter.. You have a very nice country and Jamaican people are very nice to talk with! Pierre VE2PF
